Bill Hamrick

        I have been interested in art most of my life. The final art show at the Community Theater in 05 was my display "Art of my life". I attended art classes as electives from Jr. High to post college graduate level. My medium is water color. I have been pre judged show at the Swope Gallery, Paris. Illinois Gallery and Rose-Hulman. I attempt to participate in exhibits by the Art Guild.

        The Show of "Art of My Life" covered a span of time from age 6 to 81 or 75 years. For a number of years I participated in shows at the Vigo county Fair, receiving numerous awards of which were two Grand Champions.

        I have donated paintings to numerous community groups for auction purposes; this would include Catholic Charity, Vigo county Heart Association, Allen Chapel, Memorial United Methodist Church and numerous others I have also enjoyed doing characters of friends having studied cartoon drawing at I.S.U. from Dr. Elmer Porter.         I have been a member of the Guild since 1985.
