Deborah Bonness

      Deborah Bonness majored in Art in college and decided to combine it with another favorite of hers-people. She has taught art in the Wabash Valley for many years. Throughout the time she has continued to develop her art-- favorite themes being nature and people.

      She has exhibited her art often with the Wabash Valley Art Guild, at Community Theater, with the Covered Bridge Art Exhibition, and Tri Kappa exhibits- taking several ribbons as well.

      She has taken several workshops with Joe Fettinga, Robert O'Dell, and studied under Peter Bruning. She has done are work for I.S.U. publications, the state of Indiana, and has taken part in Swope's Artists' sale- "The Big Deal".

      She and Jo Anne Fiscus recently completed a nature mural on the lower level of Union Hospital. She had previously painted two murals in schools in the Wabash Valley.
