Colts have gone Wild

        Many of you may have heard that the Indianapolis Colts are coming to Terre Haute this summer.

        In honor of that the Swope Art Museum had some artists from around the area make some designs to be picked by Valley businesses to be made into life sized statues of real colt horses. These realistic little rascals are going to be displayed in front of the fine businesses that chose them.


From our very own Wabash Valley Art Guild, we had two artists' designs chosen.

        Jo Anne Perigo Fiscus, had two designs chosen. This is her second time with this project.

        and Karen LeVan had one design chosen. A design inspired by color and the flash of horses.

        From now until July I shall be following the creation of Karen LeVan's little colt, from an empty vessel to a fine fashioned foal.

        Please join me in congratulating and encouraging, as they paint long into the night, both Jo Anne and Karen on their creative colt construction.
