Kathleen Kirkpatrick

        Kathleen has been painting for the past 35 years. She has sold many paintings, as well as, limited edition prints to collectors throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and California. Her love of color and the diversity of people are a large part of what she tries to express in her art.

        Her paintings are considered to be impressionistic, elegant and romantic. Over the years she has become accomplished in a variety of mediums. She has attended workshops with such well known artists as Tom Lynch, Guy Lipscomb and Susan Kuznitsky and has studied under Danni Dawson in Alexandria Virginia.

        Kathleen has done many one person shows in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia. Some of the shows she has been featured in are: Sinclair's Women in the Arts, Harrisburg Art Association, William Penn Museum, Mechanicsburg Art, HAA Sky Show, Gallery 110 New Cumberland, Smith Framing and Victorian Gallery as well as the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria Virginia.

        Kathleen has held elected offices in several Art Associations, and is currently a juried member of Penn Women.

        Many of this artist's works are displayed in local private collections in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, California, North Carolina, Florida, Sweden and Budapest Hungary. She has had paintings displayed in the Pennsylvania State Governor's Mansion as well as the William Penn Museum in Harrisburg, PA.
