Tim Mayhew

        Studying engineering for a third year at Rose-Hulman, Tim Mayhew always finds time for his art.

        Tim specializes in a range of art forms, but his preferred medium is pastels. All Tim's formal education was acquired in high school, with the help of his teacher Mrs. Chiz Heinrichs. She taught him multiple mediums in art but Tim prefers pastels because they are "immediate, quick, and vibrant." He also likes to work with charcoal and graphite.

        Even as a full-time engineering student, Tim has found ways to incorporate his art on his tours around Europe. Tim has studied engineering in Stuttgart, Germany. He also has traveled to Bath, England then found his way here to Rose-Hulman.
